It is I know not good on my carbon footprint but it had to be done. We flew over to Baltimore on Saturday and returned on Monday – I think you would all understand – my stepdaughter Rachel came home from America for Christmas and announced she was getting married. We weren’t surprised at that but then she added that they were planning to tie the knot in January!! So we of course flew out for the wedding.

It was actually a really very special day as – Cedric’s (the groom) Mother arranged to have the ceremony and the party at their Grandmother’s home. We received such a warm welcome and were very generously hosted – good, delicious and plentiful Baltimore cuisine such as crab cakes were served and we all had a wonderful time.
Well, I have to say that Cedric’s family appreciated that I wanted to learn a new dance routine with them – whereas my family hid their heads in embarrassment. I think I am a good dancer I can’t think why they were not proud!!!
