New ‘Into Borneo Expedition Cruise’ starts 1st July 2009
The first cruise sets off on the 1st July 2009. Passengers will embark brand new 60 berth RV Orient Pandaw at Sibu for an eight night cruise down the Rajang River in Sarawak, Eastern Malaysia, taking to the Pelagus Rapids and beyond up the Baleh River. This once-in-a-lifetime cruise includes stops at rattan workshops, the Brooke Raj Fort Emma, deep exploration of the Kanowit River, optional jungle trekking, an overnight stay at Nagamujong village, a boat trip to view traditional long houses and a visit to the deer farm and pepper plantations of Sarikei before continuing to the coast.
The 10 day holiday is priced from just £1765 per person based on twin/double share, includes all flights, accommodation, most meals (full board on the cruise), English speaking guides and a full sightseeing programme.

Luxury African Safari Afloat – new ‘Zambezi Queen’ starts September 2009Now you can experience the thrill of a unique African safari from the deck of a private suite aboard the new Zambezi Queen, a luxury 45 metre boat which will be based on the Chobe River from late September 2009.
The Chobe River bisects Botswana’s Chobe National Park from Namibia’s Caprivi Strip, and has in the process created one of the densest populations of wildlife on the African continent. The Zambezi Queen offers an intimate cruise expeirence with just 14 suites onboard all with private balconies for game viewing, king size beds and all the trimmings. Activities will include water-based game viewing as well as fishing and land based game viewing in Botswana’s Chobe National Park. The boat will be based on the banks of the Caprivi Strip which is only a few kilometres from the place where uniquely, four countries meet, namely Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia.

New 800 Mile Voyage Across India – starts September 2009
Pandaw Cruises are introducing another new river expedition sailing between Calcutta and Benares on the Ganges and Hugli rivers in India from September 2009.
The RV Bengal Pandaw has 28 promenade deck staterooms and will undertake this 800 mile expedition over a fifteen day duration with 10 sailings planned for the 2009/10 season.
The expedition takes in a number of the most important historical sites in India including the colonial splendours of Calcutta, the sacred places of Buddhism around Bodh Gaya and Varanesi, the great cultural centre of Hinduism.
In addition, the Pandaw will stop daily in smaller towns and villages to see handicrafts, rural life and a variety of local cultures as we pass from region to region. This trip is the perfect way to explore the real India off the beaten track.
Prices for a 17 day holiday departing the UK on the 27th September and incorporating the inaugural cruise start from £2995 per person which includes a twin share Main Deck Cabin, international flights with Emirates and two weeks full board cruise with full sightseeing programme, port dues and tipping.
