The last 14 days

Well, something has happened, we have just had a really good two week period of bookings and to my knowledge there are no politicians in there on expenses! Far be it from me to cast aspersions, after all some of our clients may well be politicians, but if there is truth in the media reports we have been hearing you have to wonder who on earth wrote the rules for potential areas of expenditure. It is they (whoever they are) as much as anyone that should be taken to task. Why no receipts?
Oh I am bantering and this is not a political blog. Anyway whatever the reason for a buoyant fortnight – it is welcomed.

A lot happens in a fortnight for most of us and trying to recall the week that was, let alone beyond can be a task. Who wouldn’t prefer the busy life – I know I am not yet ready for anything less.

I guess like so many of us in business we are of course concentrating on the bigger picture, trying to gauge the future and having a sharp eye on marketing which is more critical than ever. Innovative thinking and market research helps with the formula and this is where you come in. It is all very well to do marketing if you have the product that suits the potential enquirers but of course marketing has to sit hand in hand with product.

So for any readers of this who have not booked a Bales holiday – what is it you are looking for in a holiday? What makes you come and read this blog? I believe we can offer you what you want – budget permitting; it is just that perhaps we are not top of mind for the type of holiday and destination that you want to experience next? I would more than welcome your feedback and also to have feedback from the Bales – ambassadors- those that have taken and have had a memorable experience.

So what have I learnt during my own business commitments over the last two weeks that will be useful to the business? Bearing in mind that I have been out and about with meeting and engagements? Well one thing is that meeting people often opens up a bigger opportunities and connection and this shows me that even in today’s world, business relationships are such an important part of success as you can have a far greater impact face to face. Of course this is written by someone that does not really communicate with people I don’t know through technology, yes factually, but not chatty and humour so to build up the bond and connection.

I also know that is why so many people book with us – it is a given that we provide good service and detail – that is why so many come to us but it is more about the intrinsically personal service that is so lacking in much of today’s climate and also the dedication to care for each and everyone of our clients holiday requirements.

Your feedback is as always welcome and we look forward to hearing from many of you.

Back to the day job now. Will blog again in the next few days .

Goa is one most happening beach destination in India. One thing missing in your itinerary is Goa which every tourist who visits India ends their tour. You have everything, say what you want. from clean sandy beaches to best hotels and resorts. Everything is here in Goa. I would like the product development team to add this place in your Itinerary when you are doing India. Thanks & Regards
